Presenter Bio

Kayla Johnson

Kayla Johnson is an ELL  teacher at Essex Westford School District in Essex.  She has served students at all grade levels, though her primary focus has been K-3.  She currently provides consultation to Preschool teachers and has developed a literacy and play-based home visit program to expand early literacy skills and help families become more comfortable with the education system.  Kayla holds a Masters’ Degree in TESOL from Regent University and has  Special Education and Classroom Education degrees from Houghton College.
