Adam Seipel

Since 2008, I have taken my love of education to K-12 teachers and administrators. In fall of that year, I started helping other teachers in my district incorporate Google Sites, Docs and other tools into their instruction. Later, I continued introducing educators to Google Apps by piloting a 1:1 Chromebook program in my high school English class in which my students self-published an anthology of their own writing. 

I work in Charlottesville, VA where I am a Learning Technology Integrator. I have the pleasure of working alongside teachers to help them prepare students for a future that includes maker spaces, coding and authentic creation. I am currently focused on aligning ed tech practices with the research-based concepts from John Hattie’s Visual Learning studies.  Additionally, I have my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, am a Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Innovator.
