Lauren Wooden, Executive Director
Lauren Wooden has been CVEDC’s Executive Director since 2012. A former assistant superintendent, curriculum director, principal and teacher, she has been a leader in standards-based education, technology integration, and student voice in Vermont for many years.
Lauren works with regional educational leaders to bring the best professional learning to Vermont that supports district plans and keeps our educators current on the most important strategies and best practices in instruction. Under her watch, the number of member districts has increased over 20%. She has expanded the offerings of this ESA to include a wide range of innovative practices, equity-focused initiatives, and collaborative learning opportunities. Lauren's experience leading the Educational Service Agency helped this nonpofit to navigate the Covid years that were so devastating for other small organizations.
In addition to her work for CVEDC’s board of directors, Lauren sits on the Vermont Curriculum Leaders Association steering committee as an advisor.
Lauren spends her spare time hiking, kayaking, golfing and watercolor painting.

Erin Tinti, Director
October 2024 – June 2025
Erin brings a lifetime of passion for education to her work with CVEDC. She earned her Bachelors in Adolescent English Education from SUNY Cortland in 2010, completed her Masters in Teaching English Language Arts at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2015, and finished her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Vermont in 2024 where her research focus primarily centered around teacher self-efficacy and teaching writing.
Erin has worked in education for over 14 years, teaching and coaching hundreds of students and more recently working with classroom teachers on curriculum and teaching practices as a curriculum coordinator. Her excitement for working with teachers in all content areas to further their professional goals and personal self-efficacy views led her to CVEDC. She hopes to continue to make an impact on education in Vermont by facilitating exciting professional development opportunities for the region’s educators, in turn improving success outcomes for our students.
Erin lives in Hinesburg with her husband, Andy, son, Brooks-who was born this past June-and dog, Levon. She is a foodie who loves to try all of the amazing restaurants in Vermont, read books, watch football in the fall, play hockey in the winter, and spend her summers on their boat in the Adirondacks.

Jeanne Chicoine, Assistant
Jeanne Chicoine is the ESA assistant and a critical member of the team. She handles all of the registrations, billing, orders, venue details and accounts for our bustling office. Jeanne has been with CVEDC for the past 15+ years and uses her knowledge of our history to help us navigate our new adventures. Her personalized approach supports our member districts get the most out of our services.
