Gwen Carmolli is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Colchester School District. She has worked for Colchester schools since 1991, working in her current role since 2004. She serves on various boards, representing the educational community as President of the Vermont Curriculum Leaders, President of Champlain Valley Educator Development Center, Chair of Vermont’s Advisory Council on Literacy, and as a board member on the Snelling Center for Government. She graduated from the University of Vermont, Saint Michael’s College, and Harvard’s Graduate School of Education with degrees in education, curriculum and educational leadership. Gwen promotes deep learning, continuous growth and improvement for students and systems, equitable opportunities, and collaboration within and across organizations.
