Dine and Discuss with Dr. Sarah Lupo Redesigning Adolescent Literacy Supports
An evening designed for district and building leaders who have teams attending our year-long series with Dr. Sarah Lupo.
CVEDC is back with a Dine and Discuss with our Adolescent Literacy expert, Dr. Sarah Lupo. Many of your districts have sent teams to learn with her this year and the feedback has been excellent. She returns in the fall for a year-long opportunity for teams and Adolescent Literacy Interventionists. This evening is designed for administrators to get up to speed on the research and strategies your teams will be hearing about. More importantly, Dr. Lupo will be sharing what you can do – in terms of supports, schedules, and systems to improve literacy learning for your students. Her work strives to position all learners as capable and bringing cultural and linguistic assets to the reading experience. Dr. Lupo strives to put theory into practice to find practical ways teachers can improve comprehension for students in order to enhance literacy instruction for all students, especially those from nondominant backgrounds.
